Data Collection
Repatch is designed with privacy as a core principle. We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide the bug reporting service.
IP Address Hashing
To prevent spam and abuse, we hash visitor IP addresses using a one-way hash. This hash is retained for 30 days and then automatically deleted. We cannot recover the original IP address from the hash.
Screenshot Storage
When users attach screenshots to bug reports, they are stored in Cloudflare R2 storage with automatic lifecycle policies that delete them after 180 days.
No Analytics or Tracking
We do not use any analytics services, tracking cookies, or third-party tracking. We do not collect data for advertising purposes.
GitHub App Permissions
When you connect your GitHub account, we request only the permissions necessary to create issues in your repositories. We do not access your code, repository contents, or personal GitHub data beyond what is required for the service.
User Data
Your account data (email, name) is stored securely and is used only for authentication and communication related to your use of the service.
